Visitor Code of Conduct – Mannums Rest

  • Be a considerate guest. Remember your holiday accommodation is our home. Request permission before inviting additional guests.
  • Be informed. Read and understand instructions and information provided. This will help you to get the most from your stay and ensure you don’t do the wrong thing by mistake.
  • Be a considerate neighbor. Don’t make noise or disturbances that would lessen the enjoyment of neighbors.
  • Pets allowed? Check whether pets are welcome in advance of your stay. If you do take your pets, please be considerate of neighbors and future guests and ensure you remove all droppings.
  • Non Smoking? This accommodation is ‘Non-Smoking’ please respect our wishes and future guests. If smoking outside please extinguish fully and place butts in the garbage, don’t throw them in the garden or over the fence.
  • Save precious natural resources. Try not to waste water; switch off lights and heating or air conditioning when you go out.
  • Respect The community. Obey local rules and don’t disrupt the community of Mannum. Park only in designated parking areas, take note of signs and local regulations.
  • Be secure. Lock up when you are out – this will protect your belongings too.
  • Be nice to the cleaners. Please dispose of rubbish correctly and leave your accommodation in a reasonably tidy state. If a breakage does occur, report it immediately so that it can be fixed or replaced in time for the next guest.
  • Be responsible. Ensure consumption of alcohol is responsible. No drugs or illegal activities on the premises.
  • Ask for help. If you have a problem or are uncertain, contact us 0433.640.650 and ask for help.
  • Be kind to wildlife. Loud music, bonfires (Unless agreed), litter, and off-road jeep driving can disturb – or destroy – animals, birds, and plants.
  • Be adventurous! Get out and meet the local people and enjoy the local activities and attractions.

Terms of Rental

  • Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with us (the owner) in writing.
  • A deposit of 50% of the booking, which is non-refundable is required to secure the booking. Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the client’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  • If booking within 21 days of stay, full payment is required to confirm the booking.
  • The Balance of the rental amount must be received in full within 21 days of the deposit being paid or 7 days prior to occupancy if the tenancy is earlier than 21 days. If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re-let it.
  • Information on how to access the property will be given once full payment has been made and cleared.
  • Cancellation if caused by the client, deposit money paid is not refundable.
  • The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
  • The number of guests will not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
  • Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenant’s responsibility during their stay.
  • Departure – the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.
  • Check-out time is 10:00am by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.
  • Check-in time is after 2:00pm this allows the rental to be cleaned to be ready for you.
  • Disturbance to our neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond. Strict no party  policy
  • Bond is payable at the same time as the balance amount. The bond will be refunded within 14 days in full subject to the above conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared ..etc.
  • Linen is to be supplied by the tenant. (Pillows, Quilts & Tea Towels provided)
  • Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the us.
  • Loss – the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property.
  • Excess rubbish not fitting in the green bins is the responsibility of the tenant to remove from the premises. Otherwise a excess rubbish removal surcharge of $20 will be applied.
  • Correct use of the recycle bin is encouraged. Rubbish bags are provided  and must be used for all food scraps and general waste.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the us in writing.
